New industry

Have you heard about the new industry coming to the Marianna FL area?  Ice River Springs, of Canada, plans to build a water bottling plant in the Marianna Industrial Park and another company wants to build an ethanol production plant near Campbellton.
The name of the second company, based in Delaware, has not yet been disclosed, and is being referred to by code name “Destination Bio.”   Other industry recently locating to our area are the Family Dollar Distribution Center, Oldcastle Precast, the largest maker of precast concrete in the United States and Green Circle Bioenergy with a manufacturing capacity of up to 560,000 tons of wood pellets annually.  This makes them a a major player in the international market for alternative, carbon neutral energy.  Availability of large tracts of land makes Jackson County attractive to new industry.
